November Cat Skiing trip

Here is an amazing picture from my ski trip in November. During our first run in the morning there was an accident at the top of the mountain involving a guide and snocat. Thankfully the guide was not seriously hurt.

As you can see from the picture the conditions were less than ideal. Strong winds and blowing snow caused a complete whiteout and thanks to the quick and professional response of the staff the injured guide was taken down the mountain as quickly as possible avoiding hypothermia or further injury.

It was quite a morning …

What a week of skiing

I just got back from a week of skiing around Neslon British Columbia. We skied at Whitewater and Red Mountain and the snow was outstanding. It dumped snow on the third day which meant freshies all day after the obligatory avalanche control in the morning.

Here is a great picture taken by my friend.
